Strive to Survive

Project Sawkhar

Education is the most powerful weapon a child can have to fight poverty. Through Project Sawkhar — our grassroots literacy mission — we reach out to poor and street children who have never had access to a classroom. We create safe, welcoming learning spaces where every child, regardless of their background, is taught to read, write, and dream.

Project Aahar

In Kolkata and across rural West Bengal, nearly 70% of children do not get a proper meal every day. Hunger does not just hurt the body — it makes it impossible to focus, to learn, to grow. Through Project Aahar, we run a daily cooked-food distribution programme, serving nutritious midday meals to children in rural communities. Because a full stomach is where education truly begins.

Project Swasthya

When a child falls sick and the family cannot afford a doctor, the consequences can be devastating. Project Swasthya brings healthcare directly to the doorstep of those who need it most. We organise health check-up camps, conduct monthly vaccination drives, distribute free medicines, and run awareness programmes on hygiene and sanitation — because staying healthy should never depend on how much money you have.

Nari Bikash

Behind every thriving child is often a resilient mother. Through Nari Bikash, we run skill-building workshops for women living below the poverty line — tailoring, making scented sticks, preparing pickles, and more. These are not just skills; they are pathways to independence, self-worth, and the power to provide for their families with pride.
